The 31st Annual Iverson Freking Ecumenical Recognition Award Banquet

The 31st Annual Iverson Freking Ecumenical Recognition Award Banquet will be held Wednesday,
January 18, 2017, at the La Crosse Radisson Hotel Ballroom.

The 2017 honorees are:

  • Maureen Freedland
  • Bill Hoel
  • Rev. Curtis Miller

The Recognition Award is sponsored by Bethany St. Joseph Corporation.  To date, 69 awards have been presented to honorees.  The award recognizes people who foster and promote ecumenical endeavors as well as people who reflect a positive commitment to the Coulee Region community.  It is named in honor of the late Carl Iverson and the late Bishop Frederick Freking.

The Award Recipients will be available for interviews by 11:00am during the pre-banquet social.  The banquet begins at 12:00pm.   Any media wishing to tape the award acceptance speeches that begin at 12:00pm should have the podium microphoned by 11:45am.
