The Most Reverend William Patrick Callahan, D.D., Bishop of La Crosse, makes the following announcements:

CORRECTION: The Reverend Daniel H. Hackel, Pastor of St. James Parish in Amherst and St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish in Fancher, is also appointed interim Dean of the Stevens Point Deanery, effective January 9 through May 31, 2017, during the sabbatical of the Very Reverend Thomas J. Lindner.

The Very Reverend Woodrow H. Pace, Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Independence and St. John the Apostle Parish in Whitehall, vicar forane of the Arcadia Deanery and Director of the Mission Office, is released from his responsibilities as Pastor of St. John the Apostle Parish in Whitehall, effective March 1, 2017. He retains all other assignments.

The Reverend Raja Kennedy, with the permission of the Most Reverend George Antonysamy, Archbishop of Madras and Mylapore, is appointed as Parochial Administrator of St. John the Apostle Parish in Whitehall, effective March 1, 2017.

The Reverend A. Antony Arockiam, Pastor of St. Patrick Parish in Mauston and St. Mary Parish in Lyndon Station, is released from his responsibilities as Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Lyndon Station, effective March 1, 2017.

The Reverend Clayton R. Elmhorst, Associate Pastor of Queen of the Apostles Parish in Tomah, is appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Mary Parish in Lyndon Station effective March 1, 2017.

The Reverend James K. Arthur, Pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Knowlton and St. John the Baptist Parish in Peplin, is released from his responsibilities as Pastor of both parishes so that he may return to his home diocese at the request of his Bishop, effective June 30, 2017.
