St. Matthew Parish in Wausau will hold Sunday Mass and Healing Service on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3:30 p.m.

Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The Healing Service will follow Mass.

St. Joseph Parish in Menomonie is hosting the Fall Thrift Sale on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Charles Hall (church basement).

This is a bi-annual event. There is something for everyone. All items are .50 each, with some select or collectible items priced higher. Friday is the “bag sale.” Fill a bag: a 13-gallon bag is $6, and a 4-gallon bag is $3.

St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse is the site for the “Gospel of Life White Mass and Banquet.”

Bishop Gerard Battersby will celebrate Mass at 6 p.m. Following the Mass, a banquet will be held in the Cathedral undercroft with Bishop Battersby as the keynote speaker at 7:45 p.m.

Immaculate Conception will host its 2024 Parish Festival on Sunday, October 20th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Father Klink Hall.

Activities will include a Silent Auction, a White Elephant Sale (to be held in the school gym on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), raffles, a petting zoo, face painting, games and entertainment. There will also be a bake sale, games for the kids, food for purchase, music, and lots of fun! Save the date and join us for a wonderful day!

Queen of the Apostles Parish in Tomah will host its Fall Fest on Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the school gym.

Chicken dinners will all the fixings will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Activities will include a Tailgate Cookout, Packers on the Big Screen, 50/50 Raffle, Basket Raffles and Games for Kids and Teens.

Fall Fest Raffle Drawing will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are available through church members and during the day of the event.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the day.

19th Annual All Saints Prayer Vigil:  All are welcome to come and pray for souls on Thursday, October 31st at Calvary Cemetery, Highway 54 East in Wisconsin Rapids (across from Angel Gardens Floral & Design). 

The event will begin at 8:00 PM near the Mausoleum and will include Evening / Night Prayer, Litany of the Saints, Exposition, Eucharistic Procession and Benediction. There will also be a campfire. 

Dress appropriately for the weather, bring a flashlight or candle, and if you plan to stay late, bring your own lawn chair, hot cocoa and snacks.
