Students will present food, monetary donations to help support local non-profit organizations
WHAT: The celebration of the Gold Mass is a long-standing Regis tradition. It dates back to the beginning of Regis and was instituted by Bishop John Paul in 1953. Throughout the month of December, students at Regis Middle and High School bring in donations of non-perishable food items and cash to be donated to the St. Francis Food Pantry and the Sojourner House. Those donations are presented at the beginning of the Gold Mass.
