St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Almond is holding a Rummage Sale on May 3, 4 and 5.

Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is a free-will offering rummage sale.

St. Bronislava Parish is hosting an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, May 5th, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The breakfast menu includes buttermilk and potato pancakes, French toast, sausage links, ham, milk, juice and coffee.

The cost is $10 for individuals aged 13 and above, $4 for those aged between 5 and 12, and free for children aged 4 and below.

Mary, Mother of the Church Parish is holding a Chicken-Que on May 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for pickup or delivery.

The meal includes a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, homemade beans and a dinner roll. For pre-sale tickets (guaranteed) and deliveries, call 608.518.6145. There is no minimum order and no delivery charge. Enter at Weston Street driveway.

An Organ Concert at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will feature Henry Dangerfield on Saturday, May 11 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Henry Dangerfield began organ lessons with Brian Williams in 2019 as an 11-year-old recipient of a student scholarship from the Southeast Minnesota Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Since 2021, he has been studying with Raymond Johnston, Canon Musician at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis. In the summer of 2023, Henry had the opportunity to attend the Curtis Summer Organ Intensive, where he had lessons with Peter Conte and Alan Morrison, participated in a master class with Isabelle Demers, and performed on the Wanamaker Organ. As a finalist in the 2023 Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival Hartford, Henry was awarded the David Spicer Hymn Playing Award and the Audience Prize.
