World Day for Consecrated Life — All parishes
Feb. 4-5, 2017

In 1997, PopeJohn Paul II instituted a day of prayer for women and men in consecrated life. This celebration is attached to the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on February 2nd. On November 4, 2016, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe was blessed with a visit from a daughter of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla! Following the celebration of holy Mass and an opportunity to venerate the first-class relics of the saint, Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla presented her testimony about her “saint-mom” to over 1,200 people! For many, to listen to and to be able to greet this “daughter of a saint” was a deeply moving encounter with the “saint-mom” herself! – Sister M. Ancilla, FSGM, Director of Communications & Volunteers for the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe
