Mary Mother of the Church Chicken Que — La Crosse
May 10 | 11a.m. to 6p.m.
Mary, Mother of the Church Parish will hold its annual Chicken-Que on Thursday, May 10th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The menu will include a half-chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, homemade beans and a dinner roll.
Cost for the meal is $9.
For pre-sale tickets (guaranteed) and deliveries, call 788-5483 (between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.). No minimum order and no delivery charge.

Scapular Enrollment Mass — Marshfield
May 14 | 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.
A Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Marshfield on May 14. Eleven people will receive their large brown scapulars as members of the Secular Order of Mt. Carmel. Father Thomas Otanga, OCD, will be here from Milwaukee to celebrate the Mass. We are also inviting priests from throughout the deanery to concelebrate.

Spring Rummage Sale — La Crosse
May 18 | 11a.m. to 5p.m.
Mary, Mother of the Church Parish will be holding its Spring Rummage sale on Friday, May 18th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., $6 a bag. On Saturday, the rummage sale will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and bags will be $3 each.
Some items will be priced individually.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus PCCW Rummage Sale — Marshfield
May 31 | 8a.m. to 2p.m.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus PCCW Rummage Sale will be held on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in Toeller Hall, which is next to the church.
There is something for everyone.
Free will offering.

Fr. Joe Celebration Mass- La Crosse
May 27 | 10:30 a.m.
A mass celebrating the closing of the investigation of Father Joe’s life and cause for sainthood will take place on Sunday, May 27, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral.

Parish Picnic — Stevens Point
June 9 and 10 | 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
St. Peter Parish, Stevens Point, will celebrate its annual Parish Picnic on Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th at St Peter Middle School grounds.
The picnic begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
A Polka Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m.
The Sunday event begins with the 10:30 a.m. Polka Mass.
Following Mass, a traditional, homemade Polish-style chicken dinner with soup and pies, will be served. Music will be provided by Norm Dombrowski’s “Happy Notes” and “Main Squeeze”.
The grounds will be open at 11 a.m. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a raffle drawing which will end the day’s events.
