St. Wenceslaus Parish in Eastman is hosting its Annual Picnic and Homecoming on Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The day will start with Mass at 10 a.m.

Following Mass, there will be a Ham and Chicken Dinner served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meal cost: $10 each (dine-in or carryout).

The day's activities will also include bingo, a basket raffle, a fish pond, Win-A-Cake, and other games.

The raffle drawing will take place at 3 p.m.

St. Mary Church in Lyndon Station is hosting its Parish Festival on Sunday, Sept. 1st after the 10 a.m. Mass.

You can enjoy pulled pork sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, potato salad, and cookies, which are available for purchase. Carry-outs will also be available.

Beer, water and soda will be available in the beer tent.

Live music by The Drinkin’ Man’s Band and Joe Walsh between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

There will also be a basket raffle and drawings for $1 per ticket, which will take place at 4 p.m.

Additionally, there will be a country store, baked goods, fresh produce, and handcrafted items available.

St. Mary Parish in Colby will hold its Fall Festival on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The day begins with Mass at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Chicken and Ham Dinner. The dinner menu includes chicken, dressing, potatoes, ham, carrots, rolls and your choice of delicious homemade pies.

Cost for the meal: adults, $12; children 12 and under, $5; preschool, free.

The grounds will open at 10:30 a.m.

St. John the Baptist Parish in Cooks Valley is hosting its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, Sept. 8th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A charcoal dinner will be served cafeteria-style from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Carry-outs will also be available.

The event will feature a Live Auction, Silent Auction, Cake Walk, Grocery Game, Craft Sale, Country Store, Kids' Games, Food Stand, Raffle, and Religious Items available for sale.

St. Joseph Parish in Menomonie will host its Fall Festival at the Parish Center/School and on the grounds on Saturday, Sept. 14th, and Sunday, Sept. 15th.

Following Mass at 4 p.m. on Saturday, there will be a family movie, food, a silent auction, family baskets, a Harvest Market, and cash and quilt raffles.

On Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be concessions (including grilled chicken), beverages, children’s games, Bottle Lotto, family baskets, a silent auction, a Harvest Market, a pie and ice cream social, a dice game, rosary making, cash and quilt raffles, 3 on 3 basketball and entertainment.

A car show will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
