In “THE FAITH WE LIVE” nationally renowned Catholic presenters Doug and Dave bring the joy and mission of our Catholic Faith through rich sketches, quirky characterizations, and Holy-Spirit-filled music, leaving audiences open to how God can work through the each of us in our everyday life and through the treasures of the Mass and the Church! Their distinctive blend of entertainment, cleverly mixed with evangelization, is a hit with all ages: teens, senior citizens, families, children and adults… there is something for everyone. Each night is different, so we encourage you to come to all three nights!

An Advent store featuring hand-crafted wool items and olive oil from the Holy Land and coffee from the Mission of San Lucas Toliman in Guatemala will be open each night. A reception will follow each presentation.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate.

St. Nicholas, Bishop of Myra, will visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sunday, Dec. 3! Come for Holy Mass and stay to meet St. Nicholas! St. Nick, as he is affectionately known, enjoys meeting children (and their parents)! He will tell them the story of his life, how he became a saint, and how “St. Nicholas” became “Santa Claus.” Best of all, he loves to tell the story of the first Christmas! St. Nicholas will hand out some little remembrances for the children and will be available for photos. Refreshments (cookies & hot chocolate) will be provided.

St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church lot has elevator access and free parking.

St. Peter Parish in Tilden is holding the Taste of Tilden on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Get ready for a delicious Christmas with homemade goodies such as noodles, dumplings, Christmas cookies and candy. Soaps and more will also be available. You can order dumplings in advance by texting/calling 715.577.6138 or emailing palongdo75@gmail.com.

All are welcome to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, December 12th at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 750 10th Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids, beginning with Confessions at 4:00 pm, followed by the Rosary at 4:30 pm, and Mass at 5:00 pm. Holy Family Parish in Arcadia is hosting its PCCW Holiday Bazaar on Friday, Dec. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The fair will include a lunch with soup, a sandwich and a dessert. Additionally, there will be a bake sale, raffles and Christmas decorations for sale.
