The Most Reverend William Patrick Callahan, D.D., Bishop of La Crosse, makes the following announcements:
The Very Reverend Jerzy Rebacz, Judicial Vicar and Parochial Administrator of St. Peter Parish in Middle Ridge and St. Joseph Parish in St. Joseph’s Ridge, is released from his responsibilities as Parochial Administrator of St. Peter Parish in Middle Ridge and St. Joseph Parish in St. Joseph’s Ridge and is appointed Rector of St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse., effective July 16, 2019. He retains his appointment as Judicial Vicar and will have continued residence at Holy Cross Diocesan Center.
The Reverend Monsignor David C. Kunz, Vicar for Clergy, is also appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Joseph Parish in St. Joseph Ridge, with continued residence at Holy Cross Diocesan Center, effective July 16, 2019.
The Reverend Kurt J. Apfelbeck, Vice Chancellor, is also appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Peter Parish in Middle Ridge, with continued residence at Holy Cross Diocesan Center, effective July 16, 2019.
Mr. James Reider, Director of the Office of Temporalities, is appointed Diocesan Finance Officer for a term of five years, effective July 12, 2019.
