The Reverend Albert Sahayarah Antonysamy, Parochial Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish in Fountain City, St. Lawrence Parish in Alma and St. Boniface Parish in Waumandee, is appointed Pastor of the parishes, effective May 22, 2026.
The Reverend Samuel C. McCarty, Parochial Administrator of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Ellsworth, is appointed Pastor of the parish, effective May 22, 2026.
Deacon Kevin V. DeCook, serving as Deacon at Notre Dame Parish in Chippewa Falls, is also appointed to serve at Holy Ghost Parish and St. Charles Borromeo Parish both in Chippewa Falls, St. Bridget Parish in Springfield and St. Peter Parish in Tilden, effective July 1, 2026.
The Reverend Monsignor William A. Dhein is released from his responsibilities as Chancellor and Episcopal Delegate to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse, and is granted disability status, effective July 1, 2026. His residence will remain at Holy Cross Diocesan Center.
The Reverend Monsignor Michael J. Gorman is appointed Chancellor effective July 1, 2026.
The Reverend Arockiaraj Paristham, Parochial Administrator of Nativity of the Blessed of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Keyesville, St. Anthony de Padua Parish in Cazenovia, and Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Lone Rock, is appointed Pastor of the parishes, effective July 1, 2026.
The Reverend Timothy M. Reither, Parochial Administrator of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Genoa, is appointed Pastor of the parish, effective July 1, 2026. He retains his assignment as Chaplain at Aquinas High School and Aquinas Middle School in La Crosse.
The Reverend Douglas C. Robertson is released from his responsibilities as Pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish and Sacred Heart Parish, both in Marshfield, and as vicar forane of the Marshfield Deanery in order to serve as Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse, effective July 8, 2026. At the Bishop’s request, his sabbatical, which was to begin on July 1, 2026, is prorogued.
Deacon Mark A. Grunwald, serving as Deacon at Holy Family Parish in Prairie du Chien, is also appointed to serve at St. Wenceslaus Parish in Eastman and Sacred Heart Parish in Wauzeka, effective July 1, 2026.
Deacon Sean D. Hanson, serving as Deacon at Holy Ghost Parish and Notre Dame Parish, both in Chippewa Falls, and St. Bridget Parish in Springfield, is also appointed to serve at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Chippewa Falls and St. Peter Parish in Tilden, effective July 1, 2026.
